Hello,

a bit about me:

Welcome to my page, whether it’s an intended or unintended visit.

I am a molecular ecologist, i.e. I use genetic methods to answer ecological questions, interested in studying anthropogenic impacts on wild populations. Originally I am from Palestine, what is known nowadays as Israel. First my parents had to move to the West Bank after the 1948 war then to Jordan after the 1967 war. I guess the magical relation I have with wild populations is inspired by my history as a refugee; both of us are impacted by human actions, suffered the loss of local adaptation, forced to adapt to new habitat and living in hostile evnironments.
